Mtsvane is one of Georgia’s most exciting local grape varieties. Its name means green – this refers to the unusual green colour of the grape when ripe. It is known for producing aromatic and refreshing wines.
Koncho’s version is from Georgia’s leading winemaking region of Kakheti. It is a pale, golden colour, and displays good varietal character – it is clean, floral, and stone fruit-driven, with good acidity. In short, the perfect introduction to a dry white wine from Georgia!
The 2020 vintage is particularly light… However, once matched with food it comes to life spectacularly!
