The Georgian Wine Society will not share your information with anyone else, and will not send you information from any other company. We may from time to time send you information about special offers or new releases from our own website. If at any stage you would like to be taken from our mailing list please contact us.
When you make a purchase from the Georgian Wine Society website, we collect personal information to enable us to process and deliver your order. By registering your details on our website, you consent to The Georgian Wine Society maintaining, recording, holding and using personal data we collect about you.
Delivery:
Delivery will be deemed to have taken place, and the transaction completed, when we receive a signature for the delivery. If you fill in the special delivery instructions box, and choose not to sign for the wine, then the Georgian Wine Society has no responsibility if the wine is damaged or stolen.
If a bottle of wine is spoilt or broken upon delivery we will replace it free of charge. Breakages must be reported to the courier on delivery, and the delivery should therefore be checked before signing. We will not replace any bottles reported broken after this point.
If we do not have the vintage as shown we will send out the closest one to it, of equal or greater value. Should you not be happy with this substitution we will replace it free of charge.
If our courier is unable to complete a delivery on the first attempt, they will make one further attempt. Should this also fail the wine will be taken back to their storage depot, and a further delivery fee may have to be paid by the customer.

If our couriers are in doubt of the age of the recipient of an order they will request some form of ID. In the event that this is not satisfied they are not permitted to leave the wine.
