Multi-award winning recording artist Katie Melua – who was born in Georgia, but moved to the UK when she was nine – has just released this beautifully presented Live in Concert CD. The performance features the mesmeric tones and sonic richness of the Gori Women’s choir – a native Georgian all-woman singing troupe. And, the arrangements of world-renowned choral arranger Bob Chilcott.
A double live album (with 86 page hardback photo book), recorded at Katie’s special show at Westminster Central Hall in 2018. Songs include hits such as ‘The Closet Thing To Crazy’, ‘Nine Million Bicycles’, plus Georgian Folk song ‘Tu Asa Turpa’, traditional Ukranian carol ‘Nunc Dimittis’, and Christmas classic ‘O Holy Night’.
