Description
A pale golden medium sweet wine made from local Rkatsiteli grapes grown on the warm and sunny valley slopes overlooking the Alazani River in Kakheti. This river system borders Georgia and Azerbaijan where the warmer climate leads to sweeter grapes. Rich aromas of poached pear, ripe apple, and a hint of honey jump out of the glass. On the palate, notes of baked apple, sultanas and lemon meringue pie come to the fore. This is a gently sweet wine with its natural residual sugar perfectly balanced by the grape variety’s fresh acidity. Simply put – a gorgeous wine – perfect for fans of Rieslings and late harvest Tokajs!
Pairs well with apple crumble, fruit tarts, and cheeses.
